Define the waterproofing assembly
Identify the membrane or mortar, substrate, joint detail and intended use. Select mesh or nonwoven-fleece edges and define the flexible center, finished width, roll length and corner geometry.

Make & evaluate compatibility samples
Evaluate wet-out, embedment, bond, finished build-up and corner fit with the exact proposed membrane. Agree the test method, conditioning and acceptance criteria; a loose tape sample cannot prove the performance of a complete system.

Control roll & corner dimensions
Check the specified width, length, thickness, textile alignment, edges and visible defects. For preformed corners, check orientation and dimensions against the approved drawing. Agree the measurement method and frequency for the order.

Inspect, identify & pack
Review finished units against the approved sample, record the production lot identification, and confirm roll labels, corner counts, private-label artwork and packaging protection.

Count rolls or pieces per carton and confirm actual carton dimensions, gross weight and shipment terms. Resolve open inspection points before release; price, freight and delivery timing need a current written quotation.

A waterproofing detail depends on the tape, membrane or mortar, substrate, application and curing conditions. Ask for test evidence relevant to that combination, not a general promise based on product appearance.
Agree who performs each evaluation, which method applies and how the result will be recorded. Certification, service exposure and performance claims require exact-scope evidence.
